Michael Battista attends the XVI International AIDS Conference in Toronto. Michael was a member of the Visa/Travel Entry Task Group which assisted delegates to attend the conference, including advising the government on necessary policy changes to admission procedures. On Tuesday, August 15th, Michael spoke on a panel with international activists such as Rahul Singh of the Naz India Foundation Trust regarding the criminalization of same sex relationships as violations of international human rights.

With the commencement of the school year, Michael Battista resumes teaching at the Faculty of Law in the University of Toronto. Michael is co-teaching a seminar, “The Law of Forced Migration” with Audrey Macklin. This is Michael’s third year teaching the Law Faculty.

Jordan Battista joins more than 100 clients and friends to celebrate Pride week with our inaugural office party.

Kelly D. Jordan becomes Chair of the Family Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association. She will serve as Chair for the next two years.
